Glow Gluten-Free Cookies

Glow Gluten-Free was created by Jill Brack, a mom and a fellow Celiac.  She is the baker and the creator behind the cookie brand.  She started making Gluten-Free cookies when she and her daughter were diagnosed with Celiac Disease.   The cookies come in Double Chocolate Chip, Gingersnap, Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle.  Glow gluten-free is gluten-free, preservative free, casein free, trans fat free and all natural.  They are are tasty and super crunchy.  The flours used are more nutrient dense such as chickpea flour and garbanzo flour and they are crunchy and delicious!  As far as processed cookies go, these fly off the shelves.  They are all equally delicious, but my favorite will always be the chocolate chip. xx Julie Like Goodie and wanna Fall In Love?  Follow me on  Instagram,  Facebook,  Twitter , &  Pinterest ! 123 Gluten-Free Sugar Cookie Mix

These mixes are fantastic!  As far as gluten-free mixes go, these are awesome.  I love them all.  I served these at a party and no one could tell the difference. Baking mixes are great to cook with because it makes baking easy.  All I had to do was add the butter and eggs! The only time consuming part is when you have to refrigerate the dough.  But it's easy to roll out and use which ever cookie cutter you want!  This was the first time in all of my celiac life that I made cut out sugar cookies.  Finally.  I thought I was going to have to throw away my cookie cutters.  I thought that cut out shaped cookies was a thing of the past.  Just as I was about to give up I made 123 Gluten-Free Sugar Rolled and Cut out Cookies.  Miss no more.  123 Gluten-Free came to the rescue. This product is the collaboration of a mother and daughter team out of Cleveland, Ohio.  These products are not only Gluten-Fr...

Brown Sugar Blueberry Crumb Pie

One of the many things I love about baking is that being an experienced baker I can easily manipulate other baker's recipes. Actually, scratch that.  I would not call myself an experienced baker, as I am not a professional, however I have been baking for well over 15 years, and I enjoy it.  And with enjoyment comes learning and lots and lots and LOTS of lessons and mistakes.  Becoming Gluten-Free in my adult years has led me back to my baking roots.  Many challenges and many scrumptious baked goods in return.  Ah, life is sweet.  Literally.   And luckily for you, one of my favorite past times is browsing the baking sections of the many bookstores in New York City (where I live).  I usually frequent Border's and Barnes and Noble, but when it comes to the purchase I chose Amazon.com because I can always find great deals (actually this cookbook is on sale right now at Amazon)!  During one of my many excursions I came across  The ...

Gluten-Free Vanilla Cupcakes-A Google Adventure...

Above are two different times I made these cupcakes.  Once with Yellow Vanilla Buttercream frosting and another time with Lemon Buttercream icing.  As I mentioned in my previous post I am an avid baker. I love to get creative in the kitchen, but sometimes I just don't have the time to start from scratch. I was in my kitchen getting ready to create right before Thanksgiving-I had the baking bug! I went through all of my recipes that I had collected over the years and each recipe seemed like so much work and energy that I just didn't have time for. So I ran to my computer and googled GF cake recipes. I came across this link from ABC News and clicked on it. Not only was there an actual recipe, but there was a video. Rarely, would I actually take the time out to watch a video on google, but I was inclined and determined to make a wonderful cake. The video was self-explanatory and easy. I was excited. The only thing that this lovely woman didn't do in her video du...
