ROASTED ASPARAGUS WITH BROWNED BUTTER:
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
cooking spray
1 bundle of Asparagus spears
Pepper and salt to taste
2 tsp. gluten-free soy sauce
1 tsp. Balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. unsalted butter or ghee
2 tsp. gluten-free soy sauce
1 tsp. Balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. unsalted butter or ghee
Brown Butter Sauce:
2 tsp. Gluten-Free soy sauce
1 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
2 tsp. Butter
Preheat oven to 400 degree's
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
Bake in oven for 12 minutes at 400 degrees.
BROWNED BUTTER:
Heat 2 Tablespoons of butter or ghee in a sauté pan on low/medium heat
Stir occasionally letting butter get slightly browned aprox. 2-3 minutes
Remove from heat.
In a separate dish mix together 2 tsp. soy sauce and 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar and add mixture into the sauce pan with the butter. This will cause an immediate spark and splash. This is normal. Once it calms down remove from heat and pour onto asparagus spears.
This is what butter mixture will look like once Balsamic and Soy sauces are added
Serve immediately.
