I am in heaven this season with the amazing organic apples the local farms have been growing, so I have been using lots of apples lately. This smoothie is light, blissfully refreshing. Hints of citrus and apples. This is not a meal replacement by any means. It's a perfect pre-drink to your a.m. breakfast. Actually-I make my smoothies the moment I wake up so I can take them in the shower with me. I know that sounds weird, but sometimes after washing my hair, I take a seat in my shower and relax with a refreshing smoothie in a wine glass with a straw.
